Hedge Reduction & Trimming in Nottingham

We recently reduced and trimmed a whole lot of hedges in Watnall, Nottingham, near Giltbrook and Eastwood. They consisted of nearly 500m of leylandii & beech running around nearly every border of the garden. The largest part was the 40% reduction of the conifer hedges around a tired tennis court,

with the sides trimmed back and all the light now getting in we hope it’ll be put to good use soon now the summer is coming. Hedge reductions aren’t easy to get level but being fully trained we all have built in spirit levels which comes in handy for hedges like these!

Our client in Nuthall, Nottingham wanted the garden tidying up to put the house up for sale, we were given pretty much free range to make it look as good as possible, so we removed a few select shrubs and trees, reduced and trimmed the conifers and reduced the twisted willow tree as a focal point. Gave every where a quick once over and it’s ready for its photo shoot for the sale.

Our customer had a young lime tree that had been cut heavily years ago and so had put new growth called epicormic all

throughout the crown. We spent the morning giving it extensively crown thinning and cleaning it to allow more light into the garden and to keep the neighbours happy. Job well done and should see it right for years to come.
